Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of selling 21-year-old Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea for a transfer fee believed to be between £35m and £40m, according to The Telegraph.

AC Milan are on the verge of completing the transfer of Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku. The 27-year-old French international has also attracted interest from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and his former club RB Leipzig (The Athletic).

Newcastle United are expected to return with an improved £60m transfer offer for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen after Wolves rejected previous bids of £50m and £55m for the 25-year-old Norwegian (Sky Sports).

At the same time, Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma remains hopeful of a move before the deadline, with Manchester City emerging as the most realistic destination if Brazil’s Ederson leaves the Etihad (Sky Sports).

While there are no ongoing talks between Al-Nassr and Manchester City over Ederson, Galatasaray remain keen on the 32-year-old keeper, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

Manchester City have also made it clear to Tottenham that 21-year-old Brazilian winger Savinho will not be leaving the Etihad this summer, even for offers exceeding £60m (Fabrizio Romano).

Elsewhere, Tottenham have agreed to send 18-year-old Croatian defender Luka Vuskovic on a season-long loan to Hamburg, while Sunderland pursue West Ham’s Nayef Aguerd, 29, against competition from Marseille, AC Milan, and AS Roma (Footmercato).

The Premier League newcomers have also tabled a £24m offer for Bologna’s 27-year-old Colombian defender Jhon Lucumi (Sky Sports).

Genoa are considering a late move for West Ham full-back Maxwel Cornet after a strong loan spell impressed manager Patrick Vieira (Tuttomercatoweb), while Marseille prepare to bring in Bournemouth’s Ivorian midfielder Hamed Traore on loan with an option to buy (Footmercato).

Wolves, meanwhile, have expressed interest in Genk striker Tolu Arokodare, the 24-year-old Nigeria international who finished as Belgium’s top scorer with 17 goals last season (Sky Sports).
