2025-2026 NPFL Matchday Two Fixtures, Kick Off Time

The Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) is back in full swing as clubs gear up for Matchday 2 of the 2025 season this weekend.

On Saturday, 30 August, Bendel will face Shooting Stars at 4 p.m., marking the first of a series of clashes that will keep supporters on the edge of their seats.

The action continues on Sunday, 31 August, with a packed slate of matches starting at 4 p.m. Nasarawa United take on Abia Warriors, while Bayelsa United lock horns with Barau, Plateau United meet Katsina United, and Enyimba clash with Niger Tornadoes.

Later in the day, Kano Pillars will host Wikki Tourists, Warri Wolves face Enugu Rangers, and Rivers United go up against Kwara United. The day wraps up with Ikorodu City welcoming El-Kanemi Warriors at 5:30 p.m.

The NPFL Matchday 2 will end on Monday, September 1, with Kun Khalifat taking on Remo Stars at 4 p.m.

After the opening round, the league table already hints at fierce competition. El-Kanemi Warriors lead the standings with three points, joined by early winners Abia Warriors, Bayelsa United, Niger Tornadoes, and Warri Wolves.

Other teams like Rivers United and the NPFL reigning champions, Remo Stars will be looking to bounce back and climb the table, while traditional giants like Enyimba and Kano Pillars aim to assert their dominance.
